There were 18 712 ticket inspections in public transport in September

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksme” about ticket inspections carried out in public transport in September 2016:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Trams	724
Trolleybuses	1074
Buses	1988
Total:	3786
including:
Fine bills	837
Fine receipts	2949

It is by 1419 fare dodgers less than in August 2016, when 5205 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Ticket inspections in public transport:

Total:	18 712

Just to compare: there were 21 899 ticket inspections in August 2016, which is by 3187 more than in September 2016.

In September 2016, the maximum number of fare dodgers was fined on tram route No. 6 (132), whereas not a single passenger was fined on bus route No. 47.
